Newark Golf Club
The Ladies' President Denise Clark held her President's Day on Tuesday 19 August. 52 Ladies played a four ball betterball competition off full handicap allowance. Everyone enjoyed the format. Denise and her family provided tea and cakes in the halfway house and then she hosted a drinks reception in the clubhouse prior to the ladies enjoying a cold meat salad buffet. A very enjoyable day.
In First place with a brilliant score of 48 points was Julia Froggott and Sue Chapman
Second place with 45 points Brenda Bradbury and Kaye Hunter
3rd Place Caroll McLaughlan and Josie Pepper with 43 points
4th Place Linda Dunwoodie and Edith Pacey with 42 points on a countback.
