Membership and Rates

Membership of Newark Golf Club is restricted only by the maximum number of members allowed within the Club rules.  At this time we have a waiting list of approximately 3 years for adult membership (25 yrs and above).   We do have availabilty for Junior Membership (up to and including age 17) and Intermediate Membership (aged 18 years and under 25 years).
All Members are issued with a membership card which allows entrance and exit of the Golf Club and Clubhouse and discount on food, drink and specified items in the Professional Shop.

Full Membership

The procedure for full membership is that on completion of this form you will be placed on the waiting list.  As your name approaches the head of the list you will be invited along to attend an informal meeting with the Membership Committee and asked to complete an appication for full membership.  Please ensure you do notify the office of any change of telephone number or address during the waiting period. The Joining Fee and Subscription rates are shown above.

Intermediate and Junior Membership

The procedure for Intermediate and Junior membership is that on completion of the application form (above) you will be invited along to attend an informal interview with the Membership Committee and Junior Organiser.  There is no joining fee payable at this stage; on attaining the age of 25 you will be offered Full Membership at which time the current entry fee must be paid.  This is reduced by 10% for every year an annual subscription has been paid.  Payment of the required Joining Fee may be spread over 3 years.

Social Membership

The procedure for Social Membership is that on completion of the application form (above) you will be invited along to attend an informal interview with the membership Committee.  Applicants on the current waiting list for Full membership are encouraged to take out Social Membership, use the Clubhouse facilities and attend functions prior to joining as a full playing member.
